We are looking for an experienced sales professional from the primary packaging industry who already has an established network within the market and wants to actively drive the transition from plastic to sustainable paper- and fibre-based packaging solutions.
This is not a traditional sales role. We are looking for someone who can leverage existing industry relationships to create meaningful change.
Your Mission
You will use your network and market knowledge to identify opportunities where conventional plastic packaging can be replaced by sustainable paper and board solutions.
You understand the packaging industry, speak the language of converters, brand owners and packaging specialists, and can convince customers that sustainable alternatives are not only technically possible but also commercially attractive.
You are not simply selling products, you are helping customers transition toward more sustainable packaging solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and manage B2B customers across Europe
- Build long-term partnerships with packaging manufacturers, converters and brand owners
- Leverage your existing industry network
- Identify opportunities to replace plastic solutions with sustainable alternatives
- Participate in international trade fairs and industry events
- Work closely with our technical and product teams for product development
- Learn and understand technically complex fibre-based packaging structures and barrier solutions
- Contribute actively to the growth strategy of our company
Your Profile
- Several years of successful experience in B2B sales within the packaging, plastics, barrier or converting industrymailto:d.fiorelli(at)kapag.com
- Existing network within the packaging market is highly desirable
- Passion for sustainability and environmentally responsible products
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-driven personality
- Willingness to travel across Europe
- Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in German is an asset
- Any additional languages, such as French, Italian, or Spanish, will be considered a strong advantage
