The event was organised by three Swiss companies - Atelier für Siebdruck Lorenz Boegli, BUBU AG and Sonderegger AG. Twenty exhibitors from Switzerland, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy and Japan celebrated paper by showcasing their products and know-how.
The show was located at the historical Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, a former hydro power plant built from 1883 to 1892 to supply the city of Geneva with drinking water as well as pressurised water. This set the scene for beautiful paper waves, tinted in shades of blue and green that swept throughout the entire venue, representing the power of water and living up to the building’s name.
Access to the Independent paper Show was by invitation only. The show opened its doors at 2pm and was well attended by representatives from the creative world until it finished at 10pm. Almost 500 visitors noisily expressed their enthusiasm for the remarkable choice of paper and board products on display.
The Independent Paper Show is a must see for those who are already working with paper or board materials as well as for those who want to dive into this world in future, to give their brands value, authenticity and individuality. Any brand using this sustainable and tactile material will almost certainly inspire its customers.
